Sun Dog 01:31
When I am alone, then I will be free I heard you calling me from a place beyond the sea I prayed my God to find a Sun Dog to erase my mind
2.
Lord knows I'm a bum That's why I'm on this ship And lord I would fly away If I could just get a grip So I'm no navigator This is my apology For leading you astray this way on the dark and boiling sea Now I'm falling of the end of the world Taking every boy and girl down with me Yeah my head was somewhere else My thoughts just were not where they needed to be I understand your anger Hell, I'd be angry, too But you thought the world was round, too, didn't you? So throw me overboard I'm sure that it's due I'll take my chances with the fishes and the water and the blue Honest mistakes be damned, I'll take responsibility For leading you astray this way on the dark and boiling sea
3.
Brother 02:42
Brother, where have you been? It's almost dark and I was getting worried, I'm afraid this world has changed And we're the only ones to stay the same I planted all that you grew, I made your work light so do not worry, You seemed so distant and strange What can I do to ease your pain? You were all that I ever had and I am sorry You must understand I am not a man, I worry The sun is low and you know that it's time to go away Brother, where did you go? Write me soon cause I just want to know Was it something I said?
4.
Breakdown 03:09
The sun goes down and everybody's lonely So every one goes out on Friday night You're probably gonna go out tonight again, But every time you're out you wanna go in You miss the days when the leaves still burned Everyone came over just for you The music was thick and the drinks were cold Nothing's worse than being young and thinking your old A breakdown is all I need To reawaken a part of me That's been waiting to get me off the ground A breakdown is all I need To reawaken the man in me And get me moving Right out of this town Every September it gets like this, Not enough hits cause it's easy to miss Love is cruel and quiet and strong Worst of all it never waits too long I suppose that I know I've wasted my own time a time or two before, We're gonna go sit on the porch, me and you Watch the sun come up and sleep at noon (Chorus) When the coast is clear, it's gonna take them years To clean up what you've made Waste time in a different way The older that we get, the less we need to say I was 20 years old and the road ahead Looked a lot less open than it does in my head Maybe I've said this all before Maybe I need to say it more
5.
Waking up, the kitchen's unclean I'm alone in a broken dream I say a prayer for Britney Spears Take three shots for three long years If you did come back, you'd see I've changed In the cold dark morning I'm something strange I quit my job to be with you Although you're gone, I'll be there soon So I make a plate and put it in God's face He cannot claim to know my name If you did come back, you'd see I've changed In the long dark afternoons I'm something strange I write you a post card, can't depend on common sense To guarantee deliverance, I'm staying positive I broke my back on a broken seed The night's not done, til it gets what it needs
6.
Fire Winds 04:14
It started with a spark, turned into an ember Turned into a fire about the middle of September It floods the Midwest and now I remember What happens when the fire winds blow So welcome to our home, don't mind the embers that fall You were untrue, that's true, but I'm not innocent at all And now it's come around, giving our bodies to these walls See what happens when the fire winds blow In an hour or two, I'll be buried with the dawn Firecrackers popping and the summer will be gone I know Your lips were made of satin and I was made of bleach We didn't really blend but really that's all on me We'll be on the ground when the fire and timber meets We'll be outside when the fire winds blow So look around, see what I've done with the place Watch the little lines that cross across your face It's so tragic, but that was always your way Come crashing when the fire winds blow (Chorus) I was born again on a cold September night You want to be somewhere else if you're not looking for a fight My little Helen, your face is so bright I know you know what this is all about Your fists are pumping, but your hands won't clear You're gonna come with me and I'm gonna stay right here Or just maybe we'll be going down to the pier We're gonna see how this fire turns out (Chorus)

He walked into a bar Where he was supposed to play Another band was set up The bartender double booked that day So he drank a free beer Served in a plastic cup It would have been really bad if any of his friends had shown up. Stop leading me on Stop leading me on In another drink or two, I'll be gone Stop leading me on Stop making me blue Oh, everything I think I want to do, I think I do for you There's a girl on his street And he's who she's been thinking of, But he needs to be loved A lot more than he needs to love He flirts and he talks And calls her every day But he calls somebody else when he really wants to feel OK (chorus) I relate when she is late And I don't think she's coming at all When she gets low, I won't know I won't call Keep your love Keep your love, Keep your heart moving and stop leading me on I try to be true, And when I do I'm mostly fine But sometimes I can't get across what's on my mind I'm a bum and I'm a dog But I keep a steady hand If you want somebody fucked up to love Baby, I'm your man I won't lead you on I won't lead you on In another drink or two, we'll be gone I won't lead you on, I won't make you blue Everything I think I ought to do I think I do for you
8.
Moon Dog 01:27
When I am alone then I will be free Angels have the hardest time Moon dog brings me peace of mind All the time
9.
Kingdom 02:30
I don't know what I'd do without you, I guess I'll figure it out Everyone can see when a ship is going down If you want to call me, I won't call you out, Everyone can see that my kingdom's coming down Love, what do you do about that? Drink a little poison, Take a little time out Everyone can see that you don't miss me much now I guess I'll find a road that goes Somewhere that hasn't been found Everyone can see that my kingdom's coming down Love, what do you do about that? Make me who you want, and I'll be what you need You're the type who always gets your way But you can't be alone, and I cannot believe The way you drift along through every day I don't know what I'd do without you, I guess I'll figure it out Everyone can see when a ship is going down If you want to find me, I won't find you out, Everyone can see that my kingdom's coming down Love.

about

Recorded over about 3 years, this is a great example of why you should always work with a deadline in mind. There are loads of talented musicians on it.

The BandCamp version is $2 or more (I'd set it at .01 cent or more, but then all the cash would go to PayPal). If you don't like the mixing or the sound of anything, you can go fuck yourself, I'm not doing it again.

Cover art by Tony Pellock with my album name shamelessly shoehorned into it by me and a stolen copy of Photoshop.

Enjoy it and pay what you want.
