Brother

from Sun Dog by John Krane

/

about

This is from the perspective of a girl/boy whose brother leaves home. I recorded one take with the piano and vocals and then filled in all of the rest of the stuff.

lyrics

Brother, where have you been?
It's almost dark and I was getting worried,
I'm afraid this world has changed
And we're the only ones to stay the same

I planted all that you grew,
I made your work light so do not worry,
You seemed so distant and strange
What can I do to ease your pain?

You were all that I ever had and I am sorry
You must understand I am not a man, I worry

The sun is low and you know that it's time to go away

Brother, where did you go?
Write me soon cause I just want to know
Was it something I said?
